Bangladesh, Aug. 25 -- The Lalkhan Bazar-Muradpur Flyover in Chattogram will be closed to all traffic during the Jashne Julus, a religious procession marking Eid-e-Miladunnabi, on Wednesday.

The Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) announced the closure in a public notice issued by Commissioner Hasan Md Showkat Ali on Tuesday to facilitate the procession's movement through the city.

The procession will begin at 8am from Alamgir Khanka near the Jamea Ahmediya Sunnia Kamil Madrasah in Sholoshahar.

It will pass through Bibirhat, Muradpur, Sholoshahar Gate No. 2, GEC, WASA intersection, Dampara, Lalkhan Bazar and Tiger Pass before returning to the procession ground near the madrasa.
