Sri Lanka, Aug. 18 -- The Kandy Sri Dalada Maligawa Esala Perahera will parade the streets tonight.

The processions of the four Devalas will set off at 6.28 pm and arrive at the Sri Dalada Maligawa, and the main procession carrying the Casket of Sacred Relics will set off at the auspicious hour of 6.52 pm and parade the streets.

It will proceed along Dalada Weediya, D.S.Senanayaka Weediya, Deva Weediya, Colombo Street, Yatinuwara Weediya and return to the Sri Dalada Maligawa along Raja Weediya.

Crowds had thickened from last morning and taken position along the streets to watch the grand pageant in the hill capital of Kandy.
