Sri Lanka, Oct. 30 -- A 50-year-old man from Jaffna, who was arrested at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) after returning to Sri Lanka from India, has been released by the Mallakam Magistrate's Court.

The man, identified as Kanthasamy Krishnakumar of Amman Kovilady, Masiapitty, Jaffna, was arrested by officers of the Terrorism Investigation Division (TID) at the airport on the 26th, following his arrival from Tamil Nadu, India.

He was brought to Jaffna on Thursday and produced before the Mallakam Magistrate's Court, which ordered his release.
