Indonesia Cultural Centre opens in Colombo
Sri Lanka, Aug. 13 -- The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Colombo inaugurated the Indonesia Cultural Centre (ICC) on Wednesday, marking a new step in efforts to deepen cultural exchange and people-to-people relations between Indonesia and Sri Lanka.
The centre was officially inaugurated by Dewi Gustina Tobing, Ambassador of Indonesia to Sri Lanka and Maldives, with Prof. Hiniduma Sunil Senevi, Minister of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs of Sri Lanka, attending as Chief Guest.
The inauguration ceremony brought together ambassadors and representatives of diplomatic missions, school teachers, university lecturers, students, artists and cultural practitioners.
