Sri Lanka, Sept. 2 -- The ASPI edged down as a result of price losses in counters such as John Keells Holdings, DFCC Bank and Dialog Axiata with the turnover crossing Rs. 2.3bn.
A similar behavior was witnessed in the S&P SL20. High net worth and institutional investor participation was noted in John Keells Holdings, Watawala Plantations, and Sampath Bank. Mixed interest was observed in Dialog Axiata, Commercial Credit & Finance and Ceylon Cold Stores whilst retail interest was noted in HVA Foods, Renuka Agri Foods and Exterminators. Furthermore, foreigners closed as net sellers.
