Indices close in green
Sri Lanka, July 29 -- The ASPI closed in green as a result of price gains in counters such as Colombo Dockyard, John Keells Holdings and Commercial Bank with the turnover crossing Rs. 2.0bn.
A similar behaviour was witnessed in the S&P SL20. Crossings were witnessed in R I L Property, Hatton National Bank nonvoting and DFCC Bank accounting for 58.8% of the turnover.
Mixed interest was observed in Sampath Bank, Hemas Holdings and John Keells Holdings whilst retail interest was noted in Merchant Bank of Sri Lanka & Finance Rights, LOLC Finance and Browns Investments. Furthermore, foreigners remained active closing as net sellers.
