Sri Lanka, April 17 -- The Vice President of India, C.P. Radhakrishnan, will undertake an official visit to Sri Lanka from April 19 to 20, 2026, marking the first-ever bilateral visit by an Indian Vice President to Sri Lanka, India External Affairs Ministry said.

During the visit, Vice President Radhakrishnan is scheduled to call on Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayaka and hold talks with Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya. He will also meet other senior dignitaries and members of the Indian diaspora in Sri Lanka.

According to Ministry, the visit reflects the continuing strengthening of India-Sri Lanka relations, which are underpinned by India's Vision MAHASAGAR and its Neighbourhood First Policy. The engagements are expected to...
