Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh arrives in Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka, Sept. 8 -- Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh arrived in Sri Lanka today (08) for a three-day official visit aimed at further strengthening defence cooperation between India and Sri Lanka.
Singh is scheduled to remain in the country until September 10, 2026, during which he is expected to hold discussions with senior Sri Lankan officials on matters of mutual interest and bilateral defence cooperation.
As part of his visit, the Indian Defence Minister is scheduled to call on President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya and Defence Ministry Secretary Air Vice Marshal (Retired) Sampath Thuyacontha.
He is also expected to meet several other senior officials during his stay in Sri Lanka.
