Sri Lanka, Oct. 14 -- It was easy to spot Dananjaya Wijeyesekara's house located in the heart of Mt. Lavinia. Flowering plants of various colours greeted us at the entrance. What is unique about these plants is the fact that Dananjaya has personally attended to each one of them, from planting them in respective casings to nurturing them every single day until they end up in another garden.

Unlike the story of any other horticulturist, Dananjaya's story is different. He is an old boy of S. Thomas' College, Mt. Lavinia and a good samaritan at heart who had faced an unfortunate incident when he was 14.
