Sri Lanka, March 25 -- A heavy influx of foreign tourists was experienced yesterday at Ravana Ella.

Residents of the area who depend on income from tourism were jubilant over the increase of tourist arrivals. Ella had been deserted for weeks owing to the conflict in the Middle East.

Hundreds of local and foreign tourists were enjoying the lovely and attractive sight of Ravana Ella falls and its surroundings.

However, the water level had dwindled due to the prevailing dry weather in the Badulla District
