Sri Lanka, Aug. 12 -- A house belonging to a fisheries boat owner in the Kudawella area of Tangalle was targeted in a shooting early this morning (12), police said.

According to police, two individuals who arrived at the location on a motorcycle opened fire at the house before fleeing the scene.

The shooting was carried out using a 9mm firearm, police said.

No injuries have been reported in the incident.
