Sri Lanka, Aug. 26 -- Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa said today that the guidance of Holy Prophet Muhammed is important for coexistence in a multi-ethnic society.

He said this in a message to mark the birthday of the Holy Prophet.

The Opposition Leader said the following in his message:

On this sacred Milad-un-Nabi day, as Muslims around the world celebrate the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, I extend my heartfelt best wishes to all Sri Lankan Muslims.
