SriLanka, March 15 -- The Department of Government Information said that steps are already being taken to quickly address issues that have arisen following the reintroduction of the fuel QR code system.

In a statement, the Director General of Government Information said motorists who previously obtained a QR code and continue to use the same vehicle and phone number can update the new QR code without difficulty.

Authorities are also working to identify and resolve problems faced by individuals whose vehicle or phone numbers have changed, as well as those who have recently purchased new vehicles.
