Sri Lanka, Oct. 6 -- The government is willing to take up the debate on the no-confidence motion (NCM) against Speaker Jagath Wickramaratne this week itself, Leader of the House Bimal Ratnayake told Parliament today.

"Hand over the motion today, as we are ready to take up the debate on Friday," he said.
