Sri Lanka, Sept. 14 -- Bodu Bala Sena (BBS) General Secretary Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara Thera is reportedly untraceable after the Supreme Court annulled the presidential pardon granted to him in 2019, requiring him to serve the remaining portion of his prison sentence.

Prison officials had reportedly visited the Thera's temple in Nawala, Rajagiriya, to take steps to return him to prison. However, monks at the temple had informed the officials that they were unaware of his current whereabouts.

A prison official said prison authorities could not take further action unless the Thera surrendered to the police or was taken into custody by the police.
