Sri Lanka, Sept. 29 -- The Court of Appeal is due to announce at noon today whether or not an arrest warrant will be issued on Ven. Galagodaaththe Gnanasara Thera over his failure to appear before court in connection with the contempt of court proceedings.

The matter was taken up before a Court of Appeal two-judge Bench comprising Justices Mayadunne Corea and Lakmali Karunanayake, which is considering an application concerning the implementation of the Supreme Court judgment that invalidated the Presidential pardon granted to Gnanasara Thera.
