Sri Lanka, Oct. 28 -- A 15-year-old girl has died after falling from the upper floor of a three-storey house in Grandpass, Colombo.

The incident took place on Tuesday evening (27) at a house on Layards Broadway, according to Police.

The girl, who was a resident of Grandpass, suffered serious injuries in the fall and was admitted to the Lady Ridgeway Hospital for Children. She later died while receiving treatment.

Grandpass Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
