Sri Lanka, March 21 -- The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) has increased weekly fuel quotas under the National Fuel Pass QR system, effective from midnight tonight.
According to CPC, the updated quotas will benefit both private and public transport sectors, with notable increases across most vehicle categories.
Bus fuel quotas have been raised by 40 liters, bringing the weekly allocation to 100 liters. Vans and land vehicles have also increased, with their quotas rising by 10 liters and 15 liters, respectively. Meanwhile, lorries and special purpose vehicles will see no change in their existing allocations.
Car quotas have been increased from 15 to 25 liters per week, while motorbikes will receive 8 liters, up from 5. Three-wheelers...
