Sri Lanka, Sept. 25 -- The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) today arrested former Secretary to the Ministry of Buddhasasana, Muthubandage Kamal Bandara Dissanayake, over an alleged corruption case involving government book-printing contracts.

According to CIABOC, the suspect allegedly bypassed established government procurement procedures on three occasions to award contracts for the printing of a book titled "Dahami Niwahanai Apekama Radhi Heta Dinayai" to a preferred entity.
