Sri Lanka, Sept. 3 -- Three Sri lankan men were arrested by the Unawatuna Tourist Police after allegedly slipping written invitations under the room door of a 63-year-old Australian woman' inviting her to engage in sexual activity with them.

Police said the woman, who had arrived in Sri Lanka, had been staying at a leading hotel in Unawatuna for more than a week.

According to police, the three suspects, who are from the Dehiwala and Panadura areas, were staying in a room adjacent to that of the Australian tourist.

The suspects allegedly placed slips of paper containing the invitations, written in English, under the woman's room door.
