Sri Lanka, March 19 -- A certain filling station in Thimbirigasyaya had wanted Rs. 3,000 to issue fuel without a QR code from a vehicle owner, MP G.D. Sooriyabandara told Parliament today.

Minister of Transport Bimal Ratnayake, who responded, said such eventualities are always possible but assured that such things will not be possible from today as all issues pertaining to the QR code are being resolved.
