Sri Lanka, April 16 -- The TIME Magazine has released its much-anticipated annual TIME100 list, featuring the 100 people shaping the world right now. The 2026 list is a mix of political heavyweights, cultural icons, and rising global voices.
As per usual, global political figures makes a big chunk of the list. Leaders like Donald Trump, Benjamin Netanyahu, and Xi Jinping feature prominently, alongside newer and emerging figures such as New York City mayor Zohran Mamdani. The lineup also includes key policymakers like Marco Rubio, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, and Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum.
