SriLanka, Sept. 4 -- Devapathiraja College's cricketers at their village school in Ratgama, Galle became the Under 15 Division One inter-school champions by defeating the privileged and fancied Royal College by 33 runs in the final played at the Ananda College ground in Colombo yesterday.

In the process Devapathiraja, who beat many a hot side in the run-up, succeeded in realising their dream after playing second fiddle in the lower division last year. They have been fortunate to have as their sponsor the Foundation of Goodness headed by former first class cricketer and ex-Sri Lanka Cricket secretary Kushil Gunasekera
