SriLanka, March 15 -- The Ministry of Cultural Affairs has failed to come up with a proper timetable which outlines auspicious times for various activities in connection with the Sinhala and Tamil New Year traditions, MP Ajith P. Perera told a briefing today.

"Those in the government may not follow auspicious times, but the people in Sri Lanka do. Therefore, it is essential to have a proper timetable for traditions connected with the New Year," the MP said.
