Sri Lanka, May 21 -- Complaints have been lodged regarding remarks allegedly made by Dilum Amunugama, the National Organizer of the political movement Sarva Jana Balaya, during a public media conference held yesterday (20), in which a minor girl under state care was reportedly referenced in a manner described as derogatory.

According to the complaint, a video clip of the statement has since circulated widely on social media, sparking public controversy. The remarks are said to have been made in relation to a minor who is a witness in an ongoing court case involving an abuse incident currently under investigation.
