Sri Lanka, Feb. 24 -- Closure of two factories belonging to Mas Holdings could be a blow to the Sri Lankan economy as 26,000 people will lose their employment as a result, Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa said today.
Premadasa, who came out with these remarks during a ceremony held in Kupiyawatte, said shifting of some apparel factories from Sri Lanka to India will be another blow for the local industrial sector.
