CID names political figures in alleged campaign to undermine Easter attacks probe
Sri Lanka, June 16 -- The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has filed a report with the Colombo Fort Magistrate's Court detailing an organized effort by several individuals to obstruct justice and commit contempt of court regarding the ongoing Easter Sunday bomb attacks investigations, police said.
The move comes after the suspect, former intelligence chief Suresh Sallay, who is currently being held under detention orders, was admitted to the National Hospital Colombo due to his deteriorating health.
