Sri Lanka, April 21 -- Sri Lanka is expected to experience a mix of wet and warm conditions, creating a hybrid climate across the island, the Department of Meteorology said.
According to the department, light or heavy rains will occur in most parts of the country after 1.00 p.m., with heavy rainfall of around 100 mm likely in several areas.
These include the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Southern and North-Western Provinces, as well as the Anuradhapura District.
Furthermore, misty conditions are also expected during the early morning hours in parts of the Central, Sabaragamuwa, North-Central and Uva Provinces, along with the Galle, Matara and Kurunegala Districts.
