Sri Lanka, Aug. 13 -- The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce and Maldives Business Chamber have entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) that will create new opportunities for the businesses in Sri Lanka and the Maldives to expand trade, investment and commercial partnerships.

The signing took place in the presence of Trade, Commerce, Food Security and Cooperative Development Minister Wasantha Samarasinghe and High Commissioner of the Republic of Maldives to Sri Lanka Masood Imad.

The MoU was signed by The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce Chairperson Krishan Balendra and Maldives Business Chamber President Ahmed Amjad.
