Sri Lanka, Aug. 5 -- The Central Environmental Authority (CEA) has relaunched the 'e-Kunu' electronic waste collection programme in a new format to strengthen the safe collection and disposal of electronic waste across Sri Lanka.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the CEA and its partner at the CEA premises, with CEA Chairman Professor Thilak Hewawasam signing on behalf of the Authority. The launch was attended by Environment Minister Dr. Dhammika Patabendi, Deputy Environment Minister Anton Jayakody, CEA Director General R.S.P. Kapila Rajapaksa and other officials.
