Sri Lanka, April 28 -- The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the procurement of 6,000 pre-filled syringes of 40mg/0.8ml Adalimumab, used in the treatment of various chronic and autoimmune diseases affecting both adults and children.
International competitive bids were called for the supply, attracting four submissions. Following the evaluation process, the Standing High Level Procurement Committee recommended awarding the contract to Reliance Life Sciences Pvt Ltd, identified as the lowest substantially responsive bidder.
Accordingly, the Cabinet approved the proposal submitted by the Minister of Health and Mass Media to award the contract to the company, with a total cost of US$ 225,000, including shipping charges.
