Sri Lanka, April 7 -- The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC ) has directed former President Mahinda Rajapaksa to submit a fully completed affidavit detailing his assets, expenses, and sources of income by April 10, 2026.

CIABOC said that the original request for this information was made on December 14, 2015, and that a decade has passed without compliance.

The commission said that the affidavit must be properly prepared and include complete financial details, as required for an ongoing investigation into the former president's assets launched in 2015.
