Sri Lanka, June 30 -- The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) has announced an extension of the deadline for submitting annual and post-retirement asset and liability declarations without a penalty, following severe congestion on its centralized electronic system.

Under the Anti-Corruption Act No. 9 of 2023, all individuals required to submit these declarations must do so exclusively through the newly established online platform.

While the original deadline to submit declarations for the period ending March 31, 2026, without a penalty was June 30, 2026, high user volumes caused technical disruptions, the Commission said.
