Sri Lanka, March 12 -- The United States-Israeli war on Iran has entered its twelfth day, with fighting intensifying across Iran, Israel and several Middle Eastern states as the conflict spreads across land, sea and air.

Explosions continue to be heard across Iran, Israel and multiple countries in the Gulf, after the United States and Israel launched attacks on Iran. Tehran has responded with waves of missiles and drones targeting Israel and US military bases across the Middle East, dramatically widening the scope of the war.

Iran had earlier warned that any attack on its territory would trigger retaliation against US military facilities across the region, which it considers legitimate targets.
