India, Aug. 6 -- The Kwara State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has mandated its leader and former Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, to commence engagements with members of the All Progressives Congress (APC)'s G15 and other political parties as part of efforts to strengthen the party and expand its support base ahead of future elections.
The resolution was reached at a two-day stakeholders' meeting held between August 5 and 6 at Saraki's residence in the Government Reserved Area (GRA), Ilorin, according to a communique issued at the end of the meeting on Thursday.
The communique was signed by the Kwara PDP Chairman, Hon. Adamu Isa Bawa, and the State Secretary, Engr. Abdulrahman Abdullahi Kayode.
