India, Aug. 6 -- Elders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State have authorised the party's G15 bloc to explore alternative political options ahead of the 2027 general elections, while reaffirming their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's second-term bid.

The decision was reached at a stakeholders' meeting held at Notkel, Ilorin, where participants overwhelmingly endorsed a proposal empowering the bloc's leadership to examine available political options and submit recommendations within one week.

The approval followed an open voice vote coordinated by former Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Barrister Salman Jawondo (SAN).
