Sri Lanka, Nov. 7 -- Minister of Transport, Highways and Urban Development and Leader of the House Bimal Ratnayake has been appointed Co-Chair of the Media Forum of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP).

He will serve a two-year term alongside Dr. Seo Ji-young, who was also elected Co-Chair of the forum.

The appointments were made during the 13th ICAPP Session, held in Seoul, South Korea, from November 4 to 7.

The session brought together representatives of 83 political parties from 36 countries.Minister Ratnayake has also been appointed a member of the ICAPP Steering Committee.
