Sri Lanka, Sept. 3 -- Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) has been promoting Sri Lanka's renowned Ceylon Tea as part of its efforts to offer travellers a warm and authentic Sri Lankan welcome.

According to Sri Lanka Airports, the initiative has been in place since 2021, introducing arriving travellers to Ceylon Tea and showcasing the country's tea heritage from the moment they land.

As part of the initiative, BIA presents exclusive Ceylon Tea gift packs to passengers travelling on inaugural flights and during special celebratory occasions.

The airport said the gesture is intended to make such milestone journeys memorable while offering visitors a taste of Sri Lankan hospitality and the country's world-renowned tea.
