India, May 23 -- The first five minutes after waking up in the morning are extremely important and should be used for reflection rather than immediately reaching for a mobile phone, Professor Diyanath Samarasinghe said.

Speaking at a lecture held at the Hector Kobbekaduwa Training Center, Professor Samarasinghe said the importance of maintaining a healthy and active mind in achieving success.

He said that people need a brain with vitality to succeed in life and added that many individuals do not make proper use of their brains.
