Sri Lanka, March 6 -- The Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education Ministry has announced that applications are now open for admission to Grade 12 of the Advanced Level Vocational Stream for the 2026/2027 academic year.

Unlike traditional streams, the results of the G.C.E. (Ordinary Level) examination will not be considered for admission, allowing students who have sat the O/L exam in 2025, 2026, or within the last three years to enrol in schools offering the Vocational Stream in their area.
