Sri Lanka, June 5 -- Minister of Labour and Deputy Minister of Finance and Planning Dr. Anil Jayantha Fernando is scheduled to leave Sri Lanka on June 7 to attend the 114th Annual Conference of the International Labour Organization (ILO) in Geneva, Switzerland.

The conference, which commenced on June 1, will continue until June 12 under the theme "Advancing Social Justice and Promoting Decent Work".

Representatives of governments, employers and workers from 187 ILO member states are participating in the annual gathering, which serves as a key platform for discussing global labour issues and shaping international labour standards.
