Air defence guns to be upgraded under Indian grant assistance
Sri Lanka, Sept. 9 -- The upgrading of air defence guns under the MoU between India and Sri Lanka will significantly strengthen the air defence architecture protecting critical assets in Sri Lanka.
The MoU was signed between India and Sri Lanka for the upgrading of six L70 guns of the Sri Lanka Air Force under a Government of India grant.
These air defence guns were earlier provided to the Sri Lanka Air Force by India.
Three MoUs were signed during the ongoing visit of Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.
