Sri Lanka, April 8 -- Showers or thundershowers will occur at a few places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and North-Western provinces, as well as in Galle, Matara, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya and Mannar districts after 2.00 p.m. tomorrow (April 9), the Meteorology Department said.

Mainly dry weather is expected to prevail across the rest of the island.

Misty conditions are likely during the early hours of the morning in parts of the Central, Sabaragamuwa and Uva provinces, and in Ampara district.

The public has been advised to take precautions against temporary strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
