Sri Lanka, March 8 -- Twenty-two sailors from the Iranian naval ship IRIS Dena who were rescued following the attack near Sri Lankan waters have been transferred to the Koggala Air Force Base after receiving treatment at hospital.
The sailors were among those admitted to the Karapitiya Teaching Hospital after being rescued by the Sri Lanka Navy.
On March 4, a total of 35 Iranian sailors from the stricken vessel were brought ashore by Sri Lanka Navy rescue teams after the ship encountered distress about 40 nautical miles off the coast of Galle Harbour.
