Sri Lanka, Sept. 28 -- Member of Parliament Dr. Kavinda Jayawardena, who addressed the European roundtable on protecting political parties from foreign interference, said the newly enacted 22nd Amendment could become a topic at the conference on Tuesday.

Dr. Kavinda Jayawardena, MP for the Gampaha District, will participate as an invited speaker at the international roundtable "Political Parties under Pressure - How to Strengthen the Resilience of Parties against Malign Influence from Third Actors," to be held in Brussels, Belgium, on Tuesday, 29 September 2026.
