Sri Lanka, Aug. 10 -- The results of the 2026 Grade Five Scholarship Examination will be released within a month, Commissioner General of Examinations Indika Kumari Liyanage said today.

Speaking at a media briefing held at the Examinations Department this morning (10), she said arrangements had been made to conduct the evaluation of the examination from August 20 to 25.

The Grade Five Scholarship Examination was held yesterday (9) at 2,723 examination centres across the island, with 294,089 students sitting for the examination.

Of them, 220,366 students sat for the examination in the Sinhala medium, while 73,723 sat in the Tamil medium.
