Sri Lanka, April 6 -- A total of 15 ships passed through the Strait of Hormuz over the past 24 hours after obtaining permission from Iran, according to a report by Iran's semi-official Fars News Agency.
Traffic through the waterway remains a small fraction of what it was before the war.
Separately, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy said on Sunday that the strait will "never return to its previous condition," particularly for the U.S. and Israel, and added that it is completing preparations to enforce a new security order in the Persian Gulf.
