Sri Lanka, Nov. 6 -- Manoj Muthukumara, alias 'Kaiwaru Muthu', who was arrested in Sharjah, has been taken into custody by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) following his deportation to Sri Lanka.

CID officers took him into custody at Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake upon his arrival in the country.

He is expected to be handed over to the Western Province South Crimes Division for further investigations.
