Mumbai, Oct. 1 -- Valiant Communications has received a Letter of Award valued at Rs. 402.5 mn, inclusive of taxes, from a domestic system integrator for supplying communication and grid-protection solutions to the Indian power utility sector. The company disclosed the award under Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) Listing Regulations.

The order covers the supply of equipment and solutions in line with the technical requirements specified by the awarding entity. It also includes related services and annual maintenance contract activities, which the company will provide as part of the overall engagement.

Execution of the order is scheduled to be completed by 31 December 2028. The disclosure identifies the end-user sector as Indian power utilities, while the system integrator has not been named in the filing.

Valiant Communications said the order was awarded by a domestic entity. The company's disclosure classified the engagement as a supply, services and annual maintenance contract order, with the total consideration reported on a gross basis and inclusive of applicable taxes.

The company also disclosed that its promoter, promoter group and group companies have no interest in the entity that awarded the order. It further stated that the contract does not fall within related-party transactions.

The consideration has been reported in accordance with the SEBI circular dated 25 February 2025 and the Industry Standards on Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Regulations prescribed by the Industry Standards Forum. The filing did not provide further details about the system integrator, the specific projects covered by the award or the implementation schedule within the stated completion period.
