Mumbai, July 13 -- Rajesh Power Services (RPSL) has been awarded a turnkey contract by Paschim Gujarat Vij Company (PGVCL) to convert the existing 11 kV high tension and low tension line network into an underground cable network with a ring main system, GIS mapping and asset tagging across the Bhavnagar, Anjar, Junagadh and Porbandar circles of Gujarat. The scope encompasses conversion of overhead HT and LT infrastructure to underground cabling, installation of ring main units and the creation of a geo-referenced asset register. The disclosure was filed as Annexure A under Regulation 30 of SEBI Listing Regulations read with the SEBI master circular dated 30 January 2026. The project covers multiple operational and administrative activities during implementation.

The assignment is a domestic turnkey contract and carries a completion timeline of 18 months. The broad consideration for the order is Rs. 6,531.2 mn inclusive of taxes, following conversion from the original figure stated in crores. The company has indicated that neither the promoters nor the promoter group or group companies hold any interest in the contracting entity and that the engagement does not amount to a related party transaction. Rajesh Power Services Limited described the order as material for its distribution infrastructure services portfolio.

The works will involve trenching, laying of underground cables, installation of ring main systems and integration of GIS based mapping for asset management. Asset tagging will enable the creation of a centralised inventory and support tracking of individual components throughout their operational lifecycle. The technical activities will be coordinated across the four circles and aligned with local operational requirements and safety protocols. Project execution will be undertaken through established contractor management and quality assurance processes.
